What's the downside to thick anti-sway bars? (nt) V70-XC70 1998

Mercedes has an interesting setup. Large bar that is quite thin at the ends. I assume it's set up to give independent feel over smaller bumps and such, which will also allow a certain amount of lean - to a point. Then it grabs hold and, well, holds.

All I can say is it's the best blend of good handling and comfortable ride I've ever had. I also assume the 5 piont multilink indepent rear suspension and RWD have a lot to do with that as well.

Just my .02.
