I agree with Ray - the Motive Products Power Bleeder is sweet !
However, I would recommend you use two jackstands on the front (or rear) when working on the car. I did the one jackstand approach once and inadvertantly turned the steering wheel (not smart) and the car nearly fell off the one jackstand.
Given that Murphey (as in Murphey's Law) alway seems to be nearby, I would not take any chances.
Like Ray said, get a good floorjack and a set of good jackstands and you'll be able to do lot of repairs and maintenance.
