my wife complains of the same problem...low heat mainly around town when the engine rpm's are low and the engine's not pumping out much heat, and mainly on the passenger side although the driver's side isn't great either. in her case, though, the center top vents blow COLD air!! it's also got the climate controlled system....man i hate them!

i suspected the thermostat, too, but disregarded it since the dash temp guage is right in the middle, ie., not too low as it SHOULD be if the thermostat was always open. but, who knows, this car has surprised me more than once. i'll check the thermostat.

does anyone know what temp (non-turbo) the thermostat opens up?
