Question on Boost Pressures 850 1995

9.6 psi should be seen above 4000 rpm in 2nd and higher gears i think. 1st gear is torque limited to reduce stress on trans. max 2nd gear would be well over speed limit in most cases (anywhere from 74-85 mph depending on car) such that u'r usually not gonna see the boost at max too often. as for a manual boost controller, u can set it at 13 psi. the problem is, the minute the ecu detects there's way too much boost, it'll bleed it back down to acceptable levels, 9.6 psi. also, if u simply feed too much air into engine without adjusting the fuel, u will create a much too lean a mixture...could even stall. there's usually a pretty good reason why ecu upgrades are so expensive :)

u should also read up on the questions/faq at www.t5uk.com and www.tme.com
