...fortunately the 850 died at home - couple of other 740's in the family have spared me the long walk!
Have good fuel pressure - primes for a few secs on turning ign key on and also seems to pump fuel OK while cranking motor over.
If no joy this weekend ... then car goes on a flattop to Volvo for Vardis testing Monday. Reluctantly I think you might be right about it being the ECU.
