If the regular foil doesn't work for you, try the quilted broiler foil to disperse the effects. In lieu of lining your skivvies ( can be uncomfortable in cold weather) try grounding yourself with a chain of paperclips long enough to drag on the ground. Both of these are proven effective in deflecting nutcases arriving at the police station with complaints of various types of sinister radiation/force fields.
