The rear O2 sensor would pick up the fact that the TWC wasn't doing anything and in theory, you would get a rear O2 sensor compensation code.
BTW, the TWC is not a restrictive device. If you've ever seen the insides of one, you'ld see that so you're best leaving it alone especially if you have state emissions tests.
