2002 V70 T5 Strut Brace V70-XC70 2002

I've looked at the design and it looks like a fancy upper
motor mount. The upper engine mount is attached to that bar
instead of the firewall as on older designs. I suspect it
reduces vibration and harshness from the engine to the cabin
by double-isolating the engine (rubber mount at the engine
mount point and at both ends of the bar).

To me, it does not appear to function as a strut brace.
