Experts Cast Doubt on Report Finding High Magnetic Fields in Volvos

Volvo doesn't deny the existence of the field, and is willing to look for a workaround. Tacit acknowledgment of something (I'm not sure what). Why didn't the run the cable through the tunnel, which could be shielded.

Guess when I buy my next Volvo (if Ford hasn't ruined the product by then), I'm going to get a lead-lined clutch shoe.
