'98 S70 Window switches S70 1998

I used to have a '98 S70. I don't have it any longer, but do have the next best thing . . . the factory wiring manual. AGBullet's reply was correct. There are LEDs in each rear switch that will light only whan the Driver's rear window lockout switch is off.

The postitions of the lockout switch may be the reverse of your expectations. Make sure the rear windows can be operated from their local switches. If they can, the switches should be illuminated (very dim).
