I have a 97 850 with low pressure turbo..
I run a PES ECU chip, a manual boost controller that i have set for 13psi, a 6th fuel injector to richen up the mixture..compensates for the boost of air..and a 75 shot of nitrous..and bf goodrich g-force drag radials..
i installed the boost gauge so i'd know where i was on the wastegate adjustments. i'm about to install a zener diode setup to override the overboost so i can hit 15-17psi..
I drag race at a 1/8th mile track..ricer can't touch me and i'm beating some LS1 camaro's and firebirds fairly easily..while i don't recommend these upgrades be used out on the highway, i have enjoyed the looks on some people's faces when they laugh and say "you race a volvo??" and then the look on their faces when i beat them..i will be dyno'ing the car in the coming weeks.. my only reral worry is how ong the tranny is going to hold up..
