TIMING BELT 850 1994

I replaced my timing belt myself last year. It cost $27 for the belt, and took me about 2 hours to install. Surprisingly, the most difficult part of the change was having the patience to compress the tensioner. It's hydraulic, so you have to compress it very slowly so as not to blow the seal. It took me about 7 minutes to compress it with a bench vise. My advice is to get a Haynes manual and see if you can do it yourself. If not, a mechanic is your only other option.

Hope this helps.

Kevin
