Yes. Unfortunately, Volvo has chosen to make the backseat smaller on the S60 while BMW and Audi are making their backseats larger with the latest generation 3 series and the newly redesigned A4. I thought rear seat room was one area where the 850 and 70 series stood out and helped to counteract the less than optimum front drive handling. Those of us with families need a decent sized backseat. Guess I'll have to hold onto my 8 year old 850 or upgrade to a newer 70 series. I drove an S80 the other day and the ride seemed a little floaty for my tastes.
