Mine squeals when i disengage from a gear. True that the cluch will go on accelerated 500%above normal wear. Give it a week not more and you will end up replacing the main bearing, disk plates and the pressure plates, plus the fork and the pilot bearing. About $400 from Volvo of santa monica, and i am going to get the whole set, and see how much labor there's involved!!! My 93 850 is a stick and had it replaced september of 99 and about 100k miles. I barely drive to work and back about 10 miles and that's it. Check the drive shaft seal coming out of the transmission!!! causes tranny fluid leak.
