Hi,
Funny enough i am suffering the same symptom and haven't solved it yet, but my steps on rectification might help you.
My history begins with changing to aftermarket discs/rotors and pads where the pads rattled around in the calipers. I changed these back to OEM, whow you can tell the difference in bite on them.
Anyway one problem solved i looked into the caliper itself. The one on the left had rusted badly, eight years old and seamed to be sticking. Decided to change both fronts, as i had a few weeks before changed the rears after warping the back discs/rotors, due to a sticking caliper.
I thought that would cure the scraping, but now it doesn't. Like yesterday on a good old drive out, every time i went around a corner you can hear it really badly now in the cabin, even my partner can who is partly deaf!
Worried last time when the noise got bad, started with the wheel off and turned it around and yes i had scraping. Someone suggested the tin guard at the back was catching, no it wasn't that. Took the caliper off and turned the wheel no noise. I looked for gracing but can't find any, :-(
I too am stumped as i have been worrying it maybe be a bearing, CV joint going bad, i am at my wites end.
If any clever mechanics and help you they might steer me in the right direction as well.
Just some ideas for you to look into while you await a reply.
hope it helps,
