Mike- maybe you should let it warm up for 5-10 mins after resting for a few days! Since your're on the west coast(I saw you link and those 17" sure are nice), it can't be cold weather related. Or maybe you need new thermo or plugs!?!?
P.S- ever thought of getting the side-turn signals?? Nice car, either way!!! good luck,BD
