These Khumo's ride nice, have better traction than Pirelli's (stock on my car new), don't hydroplane like Pirelli's love to do, and balance fine. I have on occasion had to rebalance tires twice in a week before, but that was due to the fact that the tire store didn't do a good job to begin with. Once they are properly balanced, they run and smooth. I haven't tried anything other than these two brands, so I don't know how they stack up against the other tire brands available. I get mine through Discount Tire Store in Colorado. It also may be possible that those people might have a bent wheel and don't know it. I put on my spare (an original 17") and it wobbled like no tomorrow with Pirelli on it. Found out the wheel is out of round.
