How long does the tranny hold? 850 1995

There's no rule on it but most 850s on the road now still have their original trannies and replacing them is not common. Changing fluid will add to their lifespan, no doubt. I've seen several last to 140K miles without ever changing ATF but had they changed the fluid, they'd still most likely be driving with their original trans. There's several 850s with over 200K miles and on their original trannies.
