Ridiculous headlamp socket design 850 1997

Thanks for letting me vent. I got it back together OK. I don't know about the design for any other years. The problems I had was the cramped location and that the knotches in the metal ring that accepts the lamp can't be seen. the old lamp was wedged in place too.
