jack (as mentioned below). This was recalled fairly soon after we had
the car.

show you all the content of service bulletins and safety recalls (there
are numerous Technical Service Bulletins but they are mostly repair
procedures for the more common problems -- not recalls). The TSBs
and Safety Recalls typically lst serial numbers affected by assembly
plant (so you check if your vin is in the affected range).
