Thanks for all the responses. My concern is that I've had this car for over 4 years and it's never done this until about a month ago--after I started doing all my own work! And it just doesn't rock into place, it bounces a little at the bottom! I've never really used the parking brake as mentioned. I believe I'll start, but I still have the impression that something else is going on here.
