This is my gallery post...

Okay, heres the process...

1) Remoe the old plastic embelems by either a piece of fishing line or dental floss. First heat it with a heat lamp or blow dryer. Use the floss or line as a "saw" and go from one side to the other underneath the embelem.

2) Get a really GOOD adhesive remover. Pretty much scrub it until you can scrub no more. You will still hae some left.(This wont affect the outcome)

3) Once you have the embelems off, remove any adhesive of the back of them and prepare to sand. Get a piece of sandpaper and sand off the fake, and faded chrome or gold.

4) Once the surface is smooth and scratch free, use an embelem adhesive to re-apply them. Make sure they are level. You may want to wax the paint area where you used the adhesive remover, because it is most likely completely stripped.

Some people have said a coat of clear lacker would make them look better. I dunno... personal opinion.

Let me know what you think! ~Cody

Good Luck!
