I'm surprised that you didn't have any oil leakage. was the drain bolt hard to remove? i think its suppose to be torqued to 26 lbft or something like that so it should have been fairly easy to loosen but i have found that when you don't have the washer you get a small leak, nothing major just a drop here or there. Ken
