Go to volvospeed.com/bay13 for directions to remove door panel. I repaired the chanel by rewelding the tab or you can buy a new one. Below find directions some nice brickster gave me.

The broken piece is inside the door. You can easly find it when you remove the plastic cover close to the door lock. Just stick your hand inside.

The renaing part (tab) is still attached to the door. Find the torx screw on the outside of the door under the latch (it is the only one there), find and hold the broken bracket inside the door and unscrew the bolt. Do not drop the tab or you will do more fishing.
If you have access to a welder you can save the cost of a new one.
The only somewhat tricky part is tom align the "inside" guide with the "outside" guideto form one continious channel-it requires some wiggling, but you'll see it when you get there.
