Thank you everybody for your replies! I never realized I'd get so many responses. A couple reasons Im thinking of going with the Sentra SE (which is almost the top of theline, SE-R being top of the line) is because it has a 5 speed manual transmission which would be alot of fun, and also gas prices would be less. Then again I'm coming from a Dodge Ram 4x4 with a 300hp (with mods) 5.9L V8 that gives 9mpg. So either way it's a huge improvement.
A couple of you state that the Nissan SE 5 speed is "unrefined". What exactly does this mean?
So far I think the Volvo is winning. My folks 850 Turbo has low miles (39k), and with some dark tint, and some detailing it will look even better. It already has the high pressure Turbo which has like 222hp which is nice. If I do get the Volvo, I'll get a K&N reusable air filter, and also a new exhaust.
I'm going to test drive the Sentra SE and see what it's all about. It does 0-60 in like 7.9 I believe with a 1/4 of 15.7mph, which is not nearly as good as the Volvo 850 Turbo, but then again the 5 speed may be alot more fun. I'll keep you all posted.
Thanks again guys!
