try "Bug and Tar Remover"
Let it sit for ten minutes and start rubbing.
I know that this sounds whacked but, I have to park under a pine tree and last summer, I took a razor blade and very carefully took of the top on the sap and that was a huge benefit. I did cause one minor scratch. Just hold the blade perfectly parallel to the surface of the car and shave off the sap.
This year I bought car covers on Ebay for both my cars
