I think the drain plug on my '94 wagon was a 17mm. I just replaced it with a Fram SureDrain plug. This is a drain plug with an actuator valve that opens when a fitting w/ a hose is screwed on to it, so one may drain the oil without removing the plug each time. It cost $12.50 at Walmart, which I thought was cheap insurance for my expensive aluminum oil pan.
