What does 'disc' mean on display? 850 1997

From what I seem to have gathered from the Brickboard, is that the "DISC" on your display is short fror disconnected. It seems to be an error in reading the temp. Either play with the nob and bring it back and see if it reads or check the links to your temp sensors...
