I would never put this kind of power in the hands of a teenager, especially with the serious torque steer this package has when used (abused) the way a teenager typically might.

Your wife would have no difficulty with this car, and might appreciate the slow boil of the bigger HP turbo as acceleration is slower at first than with the LP turbo. My wife is a sane, sedate driver and likes this car a lot.
