thanks to everyone for the info. The car is metallic green. The lady at Volvo called it "tropical green". (she looked up the car by the VIN) So, I guess I have the clear coat.

I copied the URL and surfed over to www.carcareonline.com. It's a Snow Resort in Vermont!!

Thanks anyways. I've been checking out Autopia at http://www.autopia-carport.com/. They folks who post there are very friendly and helpful (like the folks who post here). I'm a little overwhelmed by all the info. Got that URL from someone here

I live in Canada so I can't get a lot of the products that are available in the U.S. I've settled on Maguiar's cleaner, wax, polish.
