I had the same problem when I tried it. Twist off. Thought I was a girly-man, because it wasn't coming so I think I used a pliers just to get it going. It came off fine. Once you get if off first time it comes off easily next time(s).

I posted to the other question today about step by step recharging if you want to see how I did it---because I'm about to do it again.
