Engine Surge, or lack there of 850

I was having the same problem, only slightly worse. I had no check-engine light, and no codes that were readily available, so I took it to the dealer. They scanned for codes and said it had set a 2-1-2 code, i think. Bad front oxygen sensor. They said it just had not set off the check-engine light. Changed the sensor and it took care of the problem. Of course if I had known what the code was I could have saved myself 75 dollars labor.
