Mansey,
It's amazing that this is one of the best cars I've owned that retains the 'set' speed even downhill. I have a 2001 S60 2.4T and set the cruise at 75 on the interstate going to NY and it never wavers like my other cars did. I don't know their secret but am happy about it. BTW I average over 30MPG (dash readout) with cruise control set @75.
