Cat Bypass 850 1994

Can't answer the noise question. The 02 sensor after the cat has just 1 job. It's function is to let the ECU know if the cat is working. Once the engine goes into closed loop, the ECU looks at the rear 02. If the reading is the same as the front, it will throw a code and turn on the light.
