Since there is a need for a custom heat shield and a fresh air duct probably through the inner fender, i bought the Amsoil TS-118 two stage hi flow drop in air filter.

It has a lifetime warrenty like the K&N
flows more air than a K&N
Costs almost half the price of a K&N
uses no special cleaning kit like the K&N just mild soap and water and filter oil

I like it woorks good, gives better turbo spool up and less turbo lag, drops right in and requires no mods.

I have heard there is no real benefit with a cone filter, but they do look cool.
