$300? THREE HUNDRED BUCKS? Rodents? Lucky if they don't get caught in the blower fan. Might try mouse traps (sticky paper-kind)(NOT poison, you do NOT want dead mice in your HVAC!) change the cabin filter (again) and shop-vac out the plenum. I just did my wife's Odyssey's cabin filter, amazing the crud that gets sucked in there. Mostly leaves, pine needles in my case. Could some paper or something have gotten sucked in? The filter incompletely seated? Hole chewed through? Mice would have to get through it to get inside, wouldn't they? Check whatever you vacuum out for mouse parts.
