radio cuts out. 850

When my 850 radio began to cut out I also noticed that the knob would move around, and depending on which way it was moved the radio may or may not play thru some or all the speakers. In order to fix this I removed the radio(make sure you have the security codes) and then took the face plate off. Where the volume knob post enters the radio there is a nut, tighten this back down with needle nose pliers.
It may take a few tries to get it back exactly straight so the connections are good.
