Only good vibes with the IPD mount. 850

The bushing was broken in my car when I bought it in January. I bought the IPD bushing and installed it in half and hour - 45min. Ok, I'm slow.

Before buying it I read about vibration issues etc, but have no complaints. I couldn't tell the difference between the broken bushing and the IPD in terms of vibration.

No telling how long my car's bushing was bad but I drove it at least 1000 miles before replacing it. I suppose the other engine mounts could be subjected to more stress as the engine was free to rock back and forth more than usual but I haven't had any problems.

Just FYI, if your car is a turbo, the ductwork makes it a little more difficult to get a hacksaw frame around the bushings mount. The N/A cars are probably a piece of cake. Also, when you remove the arm from the dead bushing, be very careful not to flex the bushing at the firewall. It can tear/break also. Best to loosen the bolt running through that one too. Good luck,
