When you pick up your car, look your windows over real good.
A shop that has been in business a long time cracked the rear window on the inside. (The car was a '90 744 Turbo.) It was cracked at a notch in the trim, and the cracks started UNDER the trim. The shop would not repair the problem. My insurance company told me that they would go after the shop as it looked like the window was cracked because they tried to pry the trim off.
BTW the rear window, one with fine wires imbedded in the glass costs more than 4 times the cost of a windshield - $1200 list!
Regardless, the legal tinting that was applied has held up well for the last five years. When we wash the inside of the windows, which is not too often as no one smokes, we use a clean towel to dry them.
