I just bought rear pads and shims from the dealer. The part number for the shims is 272272-6 (called Service Kit) List price $10.64. I would recommend buying and using them. They are a "cut-away" design designed to minimize squeal. I put Volvo silcon grease on the back of the shims. I had problems with aftermarket pads so I went back to Volvo (and dust!)
