Do you really have to idle for 60 seconds proior to shut off on Turbos?!!!

If you have been running it HARD, yes. In fact, after a hard run, 2 minutes is prefered. If you're just tooling around town, it's not necessary. When you switch off the engine, you cut off the oil supply to the turbo bearings, and after running hard, the turbo can cuntinue spinning after engine shutdown.
