Chie,

A. Spanner is translated as wrench in United States English.

B. You'll see it if your car has one. I don't think you'll mistake it for anything else.

C. When you bleed your brakes note that the nut is 11mm. If it is on tight use a 11mm socket/ratchet to loosen slightly. Then place the hose over the nipple and turn by hand to release the fluid. When I used an open ended wrench (spanner) on mine, I rounded off the nut because it was so tight.
