V70 T5 handling

i have an '01 V70 T5 wagon and I am not entirely impressed with the handling. The springs in particular are very stiff for the first few inches of travel rather than being progessive. the back end of the wagon seems to have alot body roll. the front end has considerable cowl shake on bumps. and finally, the whole car seems to have alot of rattles, particularly the hatch.

has anyone else with a T5 successfully addressed any of these problems?
