A few days ago the starter motor was sluggish. The next day the car wouldn't start. I was busy so I used the other car. Today I went to check the age of the battery and noticed, via the built-in indicator, that the battery was okay. Sure enough, the car started first time. The radio is flashing "code" indicating there was a power failure. Any suggestions?

Also, the car has just passed 60,000 km (I purchased it four months ago at 50,000 km). I thought that the 'service' light would appear on the dash but nothing has. Should I take it for a service or wait for the light to come on?
