Trans Fluid Change Question 850 1996

Many people change there own tranny fluid by disconnecting a line from the tranny cooler in the radiator and leting it pump the fliud out itself untill the new fluid runs clean out of the line.

The reason the shop can only change about Half the fluid is because that is all that is in the transmission pan, the rest is in the valve boby and mostly in the Tourqe convertor.

You will need a Power Flush from somewhere like Jiffy Lube or do it yourself.
