Rene,

the difference between those two models is that one comes witha Power Sunroof and the other does not.

I do not believe that one will encounter the 1st year "teething problems", like the S80 did or the 1998 XCs did. As you can see from the new V70s and the S60s, once the technology is present (as evidenced painfully by the 1st year S80s), things roll along smoothly. The S60 is one of the most reliable models in the world, right now. Even the S80 (2001 and 2002 models) are rated as reliable as those from Lexus.
