Loss of boost 850 1996

WAG (Wild ass guess):

I've heard that the intake manifold has some plugs in it that
are a pressed fit and can be blown out (but that is very rare). I
think I've seen one person report this on this board (and I've
followed the board for about 3 years). I don't recall where they
are (side, bottom, etc.). That could prevent boost from building.

Have you done any of the wastgate mods where you shorten the actuator
arm?
