Have the car in N, parking brake up, remove everything to get at it, i.e. air box, intake, battery, etc, more or less depending on how much access you want/need. Remove the bolts/nuts and connectors to the PNP. It looks like just less than a 1/4 of a circile with pie slice divisions, and a connector coming off of the slice. With the entire PNP sensor removed, the rod that sticks up and goes through the sensor should be the only thing left in that area. Grab the rod with a good vice grip or something similar and turn all the way clockwise to get to P, one click to the counterclockwise and you're in R, one more and you're in N. N should have the rod with the two opposite sides cut down longitudinally alligned with the pie slice. Then tighten down the bolt making sure the shaping on the bolt through the PNP sensor is still alligned with the pie slice, reconnect just what is needed to allow the car to run, then try to crank the car in P and N, and any of the gears. If you alligned things right, the car should start in P, N and not be able to start in any of the other gears.
The removal and access has been glanced over, and the actual allignment is easier than it sounds.
