The interference may be caused by the lack of "bonding" of various body parts/ Like the hood to the fender, to the body etc. This is easily accomplished by adding wire braid from each to the other with sheet metal screws. Ford was notoriuous for this in earlier years. They apinted all the partds seperate fro each other.. I always bond the entire car when I buy one.. It always eliminates most of those types of problems...
