Should the Coolant overflow look black? S80

You're right, it's a very, very, very dark green. I had to shine a flashlight on it at night to get some color. I suppose that's just normal for this coolant? I have seen color change in glycol, but I know Volvo doesn't use that (of course).

The really odd thing is that the owner's manual has NO recommendation on coolant changeout, they actually say it doesn't have to be changed!! OhhhhhhKaaaaayyyyy. Is this for real?
